'Great Adventure on the Five Islands' Translation Project Debuts

The folks at Get Me Off the Moon have been hard at work translating and dubbing "Rockman DASH: Great Adventure on the Five Islands!", a side story released exclusively for Japanese mobile phones in 2008. Tonight, we can finally bare witness to the fruit of their labor. The first episode in the video anthology is up and running, allowing fans worldwide a chance to experience this little gem. Have a watch:


The project is planned to span across five episodes, distributed on a weekly basis:
  • Episode 2: 7PM EST November 5th, 2011
  • Episode 3: 7PM EST November 12th, 2011
  • Episode 4: 7PM EST November 19th, 2011
  • Episode 5: 7PM EST November 26th, 2011
Future episodes will be uploaded directly to Get Me Off the Moon's official YouTube page. I do plan on embedding forthcoming episodes too, so do pop in and drop off your comments and feedback when those go live. That said, do enjoy episode one!

    I love the fact that they used the Capcom logo animation from The Misadventures of Tron Bonne(Which is the only version of Capcom's logo intro that doesn't make me want to give it the finger).

    The gameplay is a bit on the meh side and the dubbing could use a little work, though.

    Megaman and Teisel's voices were, by far, the best (Tron was okay as well).

    Personally, I think Roll sounded a bit too old, though.

    I don't like fanDUBs in general. Don't get me wrong--I like dubs, but only if they're official and professional. In this case, English text would suffice rather than voices.

    Frank West's UMvC3 trailer is out protodude...

    Good news, the Servbot head makes a cameo in all 3 of his hypers, which are junk.

    Bad news: the megabuster one from TvC is GONE.

    His hypers are lame compared to TvC....

    I think the voice acting is pretty good actually.

    Probably one of those:
    1 - Dancing or burning pizzas somewhere off-screen. (Most likely inside the Flutter)
    2 - With Barrell in another island.
    3 - Absent in the game.

    Will wait Barrell and Denise appear to know for sure.

    By the way, (reads script) the Gesellschaft appears in the game!? But wasn't it destroyed? They used the money obtained from the rainbow Refractor to create a new one? (Also, MML3's cover hinted it would reappear in it. If it isn't destroyed here, the Bonnes just didn't used it in MML2 due to the Sulphur-Bottom.)

    I'm pleasantly surprised at the quality of this fandub. I wouldn't mind if the guy who is doing Mega Man's voice did a re-dub of the Legends 2 Mega Man.
