Not a huge surprise given that Bandai's been dropping subtle hints all over the place, but now it's official. According to online retailer AmiAmi, Full Armored Rockman X is due out for release in September.
This is a brand new figure, not a set of parts for the original D-Arts X. However, the figure does contain interchangeable joints, so you can mix and match between X and the D-Arts Zero. Of course, that's not to say Full Armored X won't come with his own set of accessories, said to include "Hand Parts x 2, Right Arm Part, Hand Wrist, Shot Effect Parts, Charge Shot Effect Parts."
You can pre-order the figure and scope out some additional images at AmiAmi. Bear in mind: Bandai is brining the D-Arts Rockman figures Stateside this summer, with Full Armor X likely just around the corner. Might want to consider holding off importing!
Thanks to everyone who sent this in!
Holy crap! That is awesome!! Must have it now!!!
ReplyDeleteDr. Light capsule where?
ReplyDeleteI was hoping it would just be extra parts; might be cheaper that way...
ReplyDeletedear sweet jesus
ReplyDeleteAny chance of the Second and Third armors? What about the MHX style armor? I'm sure it could fit on X1~5 style Xs just fine.
ReplyDeleteBaaaahhhh! Wished it came as a set of parts. (or that I waited a bit longer and held out for this instead of regular X.) I think I'll wait and see if they're gonna produced other armors. I know I'm gonna wait for v2 Zero with his saber.
ReplyDeleteI want them all! Gawd!
ReplyDelete*Droollll*
ReplyDeleteThis is NOT going to be easy to wait for. I may just wind up importing, if shipping isn't too outrageous.
ReplyDeleteI doubt it will happen, but I really kind of want to see a Return X figure, (not to mention a Vile figure) like these ones.
ReplyDeleteO.O ............. X} ................
ReplyDeleteWAAAAAAANNNT! XD But now I have to decide which one, X not armored or X armored?! And then there's still ZERO!
AAAAAGHHHHH THEY LOOK SO AMAZING!
GO MEGA MAN X!!!!!
XD
Me Gusta.
ReplyDeleteNow we gotta hope sales make Bandai produce figures all the way up to the Ultimate Armor. And that the Ultimate Armor isn't a exclusive.
Just so you guys know, having both normal X and full armor X is useful, because their interchangeable parts allow you to do cool stuff like this: http://www.gundammodelkits.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/D-Arts-Rockman-X-Megaman-X-Full-Armor-03.jpg
ReplyDeleteHopefully, NOTHING will be exclusive to anywhere XD
ReplyDeleteGuess I'm the only person who's not exactly thrilled with another X figure in a line that so far consists of three figures. Personally, I would rather see some different characters over another version of X. How about Axl, or some of the Command Mission characters?
ReplyDeleteI hope this doesn't mean they're going to go the route they did last time. The early 2000s line had five Zero figures (which were all recolors of the same figure), Bit, Vile, Return X, and more than 30 versions of X in various armors. Some of them were recolors, and some were extra armor kits without a base figure, but still. X overload.
A to-scale ride armor like the old line had would be awesome, though. Big, and likely expensive, but awesome.
It looks really nice, but I'd likely just get the regular armor version instead.
ReplyDeleteI don't really like getting Armor-type figures for Rockman characters, unless it's parts-types like how the EXE and SSR "style/Star Break" figures were. Feels nicer when I can just switch back and forth between "normal" and "powered up" figures for displaying.
