Behold, "Rockworld." Rockman Mega World, it is not, but something entirely different. The seller's description of the game sums it up nicely:
"Classic, addictive gameplay - Mega has to take his hammer, and run around creating holes in which to trap various nasties (robots, insects, mammals and monsters) before knocking them through the floor to their doom!
Collect various powerups and bonuses to boost your score and gain extra skills. You can even plug in a second pad and play with a friend! Genuinely good fun, and really hard to get hold of!"
Quite the kooky situation X has gotten himself into. Maverick Hunting alone must not be putting enough food on the table, I assume.
Now, I can't exactly place my finger on it, but the game looks like its based off of something genuine. At a glance, I thought it was either Wrecking Crew or Mario & Wario but that isn't so. Any ideas? Nevertheless, I'd kill to see some gameplay of this!

That's not even X! It's some really disturbing transmutation of Mega Man and X... yikes.
ReplyDeleteSo, it's ''Wrecking Crew'', but RockMan themed?
ReplyDeleteO_o! *Pukes*
ReplyDeleteit's a hack of wani wani world. here's a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uI7dcp9lOaI
ReplyDeleteI dunno, this looks like it might actually be kind of fun.
ReplyDeleteI'd never bid or buy it, mind you.
Yeah..... It's just Mega Man's head and X's body. What a total mess this is. Weird. @_@
ReplyDeleteI smell a lawsuit! I can feel it!
ReplyDeleteReally odd... The original looks fun anyway.
ReplyDeleteWhat the game box says about the story? I only understand "Wily" and "Rockman".
wani wani world hack
ReplyDeletenever was an original cartridge. just another chinese hack, like many ones out there
"This is a VERY rare game, which I have never seen for sale on eBay before"
ReplyDeleteAnd a $130 USD price. The seller must actually think he has a genuine game on his hands, or he thinks no one can tell it's a bootleg.
"Click for bigger!"
ReplyDeleteThat part made me lawl.
Believe it or not, I've actually seen worse pirates than this.
ReplyDelete$130 for the game + ~$20 shipping = $150 USD
ReplyDeleteDamn, that's the most I've ever seen for a bootleg!!
Wh-why is Rockman in X's body? That's just so weird....
ReplyDeleteHuh... Well, I guess I'll be the one to say it. "Hammer time."
ReplyDeleteThat's the side-effect of X getting the wrong 1-UP. Either that of Light let Mega Man test X's body while he was working on the head.
ReplyDeletelol at anonymous' hammer time. made me think of those time stopper abilities from the games.
ReplyDeleteOh my, i played this game when i was 8-10 years old, and i loved it, really fun. Had to be, i mean if i can remember something from that age it must been really fun or something.
