The source of this news, Korean based fan RockMaster, believes Rockman Online could be released as soon as this year with beta testing beginning shortly. Screens and videos of the game in action will likely surface around that time.
Hopefully, we'll be getting some more concrete info on the beta (and how to participate) soon. Till then, please do admire the lovely new teaser image!
Even though I no longer care much for the X series in general thanks to its bat[censored] insane fanbase, I’ll still try to participate in this.
ReplyDeleteAfter all, I do have some experience playing Korean MMOs, and I also have quite a few friends playing KMS (Korean MapleStory) that are intrested in trying Rockman Online as well.
Of course, now that I think about it, there is ONE thing that might stop the majority of us from participating in this.
It is common for Korean MMOs to not restrict access to their game through IP blocking (as in, you won’t need a proxy to play). However, they usually use something that is far, FAR harder to circumvent – the requirement to already have a KSSN (Korean Social Security Number).
If there is anyone else here who is interested in playing the closed beta (despite the language barrier, but I doubt that stopped many of us before), and they ask you for a KSSN, well, good luck.

ReplyDeleteTHe Digimon MMO was made by the same company, and it was made back in 2003, and did not release outside of Asia until early 2010
