I always wonder what that scrolling text on Niconico was. It's really annoying and I usually turn it off... I thought it was commentary or something, and I still wonder what the long strings of "wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww" are supposed to mean...

ReplyDeletewww is the Japanese version of lol. It's actually a kanji, but it's been shortened down to a single letter for the speed of typing. The more w's, the emphasis on the loudness of the laugh.

Second, when did I ever say anything about action? Just because I dislike Lucky Shit, doesn't automatically mean I'm only into garbage like Bleach/Naruto/One Piece/etc.
Hell, the only action series I actually liked was Hokuto no Ken. Other than that, I seem to watch more stuff like CLANNAD, Toradora!, Kanon, Azumanga Daioh, and so on.

The game looks boring as shit. Just a bunch of minigames, dress-up features, some visual-novel style stuff that looks half-assed into the game, and hell, the Rockman parody doesn't even appear in the trailer.
LOL! That's a quite funny way to defeat a boss. The different colored comments do something or it's just for variety? But it is somewhat repetitive, giving it a low replay value...

I don't watch the anime (is there even a manga of this?), but Konata has certainly creeped her way up into stardom as well. Even if it is being the Japanese equivalent of Peter Griffin.

ReplyDelete@Aldo- Lucky Star first started out as a 4-panel manga, then it was turned into an anime. The just recently translated the manga into English last year, so I'm sure you could find it at any store that sells manga now.

ReplyDeleteThat is the farthest thing from a Rockman parody I've ever seen.
Last I checked, Rockman doesn't involve an Endless Jump As High As You Can minigame.
It shows some boss, but you don't even fight it. Let alone even need to use the Buster Gun. Why give you a shooting button, if you don't even USE it at all!?
Yeah, this series definitely deserves the nickname: Lucky Shit.
The jumping part is annoying, but the ending is pretty good!
