I think MM5 had moved beyond empires at that point. They just had corny slogans.
@Hypercoyote: They reference empires in another ad that fellow posted, one with multiple Capcom games featured.Everyone I've described the MM5 ad to thinks the phrase "spare parts" is hilarious, for the wrong reasons. :/

I love the original box for Mega Man - "1 Million bits of memory!" You've gotta love the old advertising that they tried to impress you with back then! Great stuff!
To first anon: I do as well. Hell, we probably have the same comic, lol. Though...is it wrong to have most of those burned into my memory? As in, instantly recognizable? Nerdy shame...
