Ebay, home to everything you could ever want and not, has an autographed Mega Man sketch up on the auction block, drawn and signed by the father of the Blue Bomber himself, Keiji Inafune.
The seller won the sketch in a contest a few years back and is willing to part with it. Current price? $50. With six days left to go, there's plenty of time for the piece to skyrocket in price.

Hey, fun idea for a thread, let's place "bets" on what it goes for. I bet $180
ReplyDeleteI dont trust this one. It could be copy.
ReplyDeleteSeller has 100% positive feedback. What's not to trust?
ReplyDeleteWell, whoever gets it should be able to tell pretty easily if it's a copy. Might as well as the question though just to put it on record.
ReplyDeleteIt doesnt matter. Some people would buy it and didn't know it was fake and gave a positive feedback.
ReplyDeleteHe's wearing the hat on his helmet...
ReplyDeleteAs for the bet, I put $550
I'm saying $330. If I had the money and it is legit, I'm buy it.
ReplyDeleteI don't really want to be part of the doubting crowd, but the only red flag to me is: why is the guy reusing the exact same photo that was originally posted on that Unity blog post two years ago?
ReplyDeleteIf I'm in the mood before I consider bidding, I think I'm gonna ask if he can take his own photo as proof. Yes, I would trust the feedback and all, but reusing that photo comes off as fishy, now that I think about it.
And even if it is all peachy and legit, I'll make a post saying otherwise just to keep you all from raising the price on me. ;p LOL
Hmm, that's a good point Rock, but he may just not have a digital camera. He just sold a phone and he used a premade pic for that too.
ReplyDeleteWell, looks like I've lost the bet already....currently $184.50
ReplyDeleteThat $184-ish was my max bid, sadly. I thought I could swipe it since nobody had bid until this morning, but I guess there was some interest from somebody with a ridiculous amount of feedback, so maybe a seller who wants to make more off of it.
ReplyDeleteToo bad it had to expire while I was at work. Would have been fun to have, but no big loss I guess.
