According to a post over at Ippo Yamada's official blog, a new Rockman soundtrack might be in production. Ippo Yamada, composer for various Rockman titles (Zero series in particular), is supposedly attached to the project alongside a few other unnamed artists.Ippo doesn't specifically say the soundtrack is Rockman related, but based on the fact that he's currently interviewing past Rockman composers for said soundtrack's booklet, I'd say that that's a major indication that something interesting is coming down the pike.
Not much else to say than that. I'll keep you posted if anything new comes up.
Seems like Rockman music is a better business than the game itself...

By far the best announcement on this blog in a LONG while, although admittedly that info on Operate Shooting Star about a week ago was interesting too.

ReplyDeleteI'd very, very much rather see a ZX3 then another classic or X series game. As for the CD, hopefully it IS another good remastered CD. Though, maybe it's of SSR3. Since SSR1 and SSR2 DID get an album too
