The sad thing is that all of these "features" were already available if you simply played it via ZoDTTD's iPhone NES emulator, which is quite good. His emulators do well with the GB, GBA, NES, Genesis, and SNES, and he's got some other consoles, but they aren't quite up to 100% yet. I'd tell you what I think of this game on the iPhone, but I don't think I'll be wasting money on it.
I've yet to play the update for myself, so I can't judge. Feel free to post your impressions in the comments.
