No, it's still Wily's fault. It's pretty obvious! Wily is directly responsible for the destruction in 20XX because he reprogrammed Light's bots into killing machines. He also created the Zero Virus, which in turn created the Maverick Virus that caused all of the destruction in 21XX. Then all of the other wars from 22XX-24XX were indirectly caused by the result of the Maverick Wars.

He's definately the villain. If he hadn't built Megaman, Zero wouldn't have been built, nor would X have been built. Thus the Maverick Wars would've never happened. Nor would Megaman 1-9, X1-6, Zero1-4,ZX, ZXA, and anything that comes later. Go Dr. Light!

Let's not forget that he built his first son with an unstable nuclear reactor and died later on. Or the fact that his second died before becoming an old man. Or the fact that his third son got brutally ripped to shreds multiple times before losing his body. Oh, and let's not forget the fact that his third son is the cause of all destruction in the X series and onwards.
ReplyDeleteWell, since the main problem of reploids goin maverick is their flawed emotion chip which was copied from X, one could say that if Dr.Light had documented his research better (comment your source code dammit!!!) Dr.Cain wouldn't have messed up the way he did.
ReplyDelete- If this is the context, well, there's a worst example: Dr. Hikari is Lan Hikari's dad. He works at the Sci-Lab, and he is the one who created MegaMan EXE (aka Lan's brother, Hub) and Lan's PET (PErsonal Terminal). SOURCE
