A few more details concerning the Playsation Store Rockman 9 promotion:Starting today, those who purchase Rockman 9 off of the Japanese PlayStation store will automatically be entered in a drawing to win win either a free download of Rockman Complete Works 1 or a special Rockman tee shirt.
For now, the contest is the only method of obtaining Complete Works, it's not available on the PS store yet.
The contest ends July 8th.

ReplyDeleteHmm, I'd been wanting to get Megaman 9 on the PS store, I guess I could get Rockman 9 instead :). So you can just open a JPN PS Store account, right? The content isn't region locked? I've never researched it and everything is blocked here, so I can't look it up.

But this MegaMan 1 has a Database gallery, Boss Attack mode and Hard difficulty (there's no energy to pick up and you take more damage. Read more at RPM). I say that's a very good prize. ^^
ReplyDeleteEh, for me it'd be nice to win that stuff too, but I just wanted MM9/RM9 on the PS3. I think I like the controls on it better than the Wii's, plus I wanna get trophies. Do those show up alongside your current trophies and would they all be in Japanese?
ReplyDelete@Hypercoyote: What I know about my Japanese Wii version, the names in the Challenge achievements list (and pretty much all the game's menus) is in English (Mega Diet is still Mega Diet ^^), and the descriptions are in Japanese. I haven't tried the PS3 or 360 version yet, but maybe the achievements are in English on the JP version. We just have to wait and see if it's true. o.o
