With the recent trend of porting popular home console titles onto
Steam, one wonders if
Mega Man 9 will get a similar treatment. What say you Mr. Svensson?
"Sorry, there's no plans for a PC MM9 version."
If you've been waiting for a PC version of the title, best not to hold your breath.

Darn. Oh well. I was hoping to play it one of these days.
ReplyDeleteMega Man 9 on the PC? Blegh, no thanks. Even if there would have been a way to mod the graphics for it, I still wouldn't get it. The controls would have sucked. I'd rather they release it on the PS2 or even the Game Cube than release it on the PC.
ReplyDeleteControls would suck? You can get pretty much any kind of controller in the world for the PC. Heck, you can even used the Wii,PS3 and 360 controllers.
ReplyDeleteahhh?? do i have to be surprised?? "no mm9 for pc", i only wish someone to make a wii-nes emulator in order to play the dumped rom
ReplyDeleteSome games just do suck with PC controls. Yes, you can use a gamepad, but not that many do.
ReplyDeleteMM9 needs to stay on consoles anyway, since it's an homage of sorts and all.
Thanks God. It is so unnecessarily!
ReplyDeleteAnything you people say won't really matter because there are many geeks out there who can port the game on the PC. They are the ones who can really say yes or no for an answer. The comment about controls really made me laugh. It's really funny thinking about how many dumb gamers there are in this world. If you can't play a game comfortably because of controls and you're dumb enough not to know how to make things easier or convenient, then maybe you might want to stop playing and start learning how technology works. And about necessity, it's necessary for Mega Man/ Rockman fans who do not own any of the high-end consoles out there.
ReplyDeletePha this is the only game i want from capcom to steam... sure Street fighter IV was a nice touch for PC but still i wanted Megaman 9more then anything. i could pay 20 Euro for this port.
ReplyDeletebut what really amaze me is that no one have take on the challange to port it to nes/snes emulators?
Oh..I'll have it on my PC eventually no matter what Capcom says...and to whoever keeps making comments about pc controls being inferior and not many people using gamepads on pc you have no clue. I know more people that DO use gamepads with their pc then who don't.
