Mobile phone game, "Family Guy Uncensored", pits the dysfunctional Griffin family in a series of bizarre, pop culture inspired, mini games. One game in particular is a blatant homage to classic Mega Man, starring g Stewie Griffin adorned in MM attire and Brian Griffin as Rush. Awesome, right? (and yes, that is none other than "Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Man" playing the role of a common stage foe.)
Gameplay can be viewed here at the 0:29 and 0:40 marks. The title itself can be purchased at AT&T's homepage.
Thanks, Just
I hate Family Guy.. it is not good for kids and it is a bad influence. I am not applauding for spoofs megaman because Family Guy is disgusting and perverting.
ReplyDeletelighten up, it's a CARTOON
ReplyDeleteto anon 1: bad influence?? disney is the real bad influence for kids
ReplyDelete@Anon1: True, but its humour is so juvenile that only thirteen-year-olds could find it funny (though that's just me). That's why so many kids watch it.
ReplyDeletePretty awesome, my apathy for Family Guy notwithstanding.
Yeah, well... Your face is a bad influence.
ReplyDeleteFamily Guy has its funny moments, but you can go too far with raunchiness, and it does. I prefer to limit my watching of it to the occasional clip that gets posted on facebook.
ReplyDeleteAnd as much as it makes me sound like a prude, it is a bad influence.
Stewie: This is just like that time I got Metal Blades...
ReplyDeleteMost of the people who hate Family Guy only hate it because Trey and Matt told them to on South Park.
ReplyDeleteIt's a legitimately good show, just like Mega Man is a legitimately good game series :)
As for the minigames, actually looks pretty good, at least on par with Wario Ware(and miles beyond the PS2 Family Guy video game, of course)
This reminds me of the time that I beat Airman.
ReplyDeleteso THATS where all the Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Men went, i wondered if he ever sold them
ReplyDelete@JunkmanSP Most of the people who hate Family Guy only hate it because Trey and Matt told them to on South Park.
ReplyDeleteNo, that's not the case. That's what ALL Simpsons/Futurama/King of the Hill haters say. Stop using that as an excuse.
Most people hate Family Guy because it relies too much on pop culture references and immature, gross-out humor for laughs and they drag jokes on for WAY too long.
I hate to admit though, at least Family Guy is better than American Dad and Drawn Together.
I would would ba a bad influence if it was,you know,MADE FOR KIDS.But it is made for adults
ReplyDeleteIt is made for adults. The bad influence comes from anyone who lets their children watch it, NOT the show. Family guy is funny as hell. Bad influence comes down to BAD parenting.
