The original Mega Man X is one of the voting options for GameFaqs' "BEST. GAME. EVER" poll, the websites largest, most community driven poll in five years.
Contending for MMX's spot are the likes of Phantasy Star IV, The Legend of Zelda:Link's Awakening and Final Fantasy III (FFVI outside of US). Very tough competition!
If you love the original MMX or just flat out love the X series in general, do your part and vote!
Thanks for the heads up Jeff.
There is no chance of Megaman X winning. It's ether going to be Legend of Zelda:OOT or FF:VII.It'sa really a poll to see which game has the most fanboys.
ReplyDeleteto the previous poster: did you even read protodude's post? it's not OOT, and not FF7. as a zelda fanboy, link's awakening is an awesome game, but NOTHING like OOT at all. phantom hourglass, yeah, but not OOT. unless you mean overall. then yeah, i'd say X might be in trouble.
ReplyDeleteI like TLOZ better, but I do really really enjoy MMX1. It's my favorite of all the ones I've played. :)
ReplyDelete^ I'm so f*cking agree with you. The winner will be the game with the most fanboys... and (almost) everybody new gamer loves the damn Cloud and Sephiroth... >.>
ReplyDeleteVOTING LIKE THE FIST OF MISS TRON
ReplyDeleteI agree. I love MMX (it's one of my top 5 favorite games of all time) but I also love Zelda and FF; and X has no shot. :\
ReplyDeleteYes, please read - Final Fantasy VII isn't even up for grabs here. However, my money is up for ZELDA: ALttP winning (because it was awesome, long, and pretty ground-breaking at its time), or perhaps FF6 (also one of the best RPGs at the time). However, I really enjoyed MMX1 when it came out and I wouldn't mind seeing it win (I enjoy it a little bit more than X2 and the SNES version of X3).
ReplyDeleteAs much as I love X1, i just had to vote for Link's Awakening. I'm sorry, but that game is one of my all-time favorite games.
ReplyDeleteI meant the entire thing you idiots.
ReplyDeleteMega Man X lost, but there's still MM2 and MM3!
ReplyDeleteLink's Awakening was a good game. I have a Famicom version of it sitting around on my computer here that I still need to beat one of these days...
