If you've been paying attention to Capcom USA's Twitter page, you might have noticed this ambiguous URL: "tu4ar.com." A mysterious countdown page. For what? The answer lies within the URL itself: "tu4ar" might have a direct correlation to the supposed Marvel vs. Capcom 2 XBLA/PSN port that everyone's been talking about recently. PRC reader Urya points out that, "tu4ar stands for 'Take U 4 A Ride,' a part of the lyrics from the MvC2 Character Select screen theme." Really? Really. Listen for yourself:
(Annoying enough?)
The ESRB rating. The achievements. The fight pads. The countdown. It seems a lot more likely than it seems not likely that Capcom will have a MvC2 re-release announcement any day now. Captivate '09 perhaps? The embargo lifts on April 29th after all, a date that seems to fall closely in place with the tu4ar.com countdown...
I used to like listening to that song when I was choosing my characters XD
ReplyDeleteI don't think they repeated the lyrics enough for us to get an idea. Could you post the lyrics for us again? XD
ReplyDeleteLike the giant 2 superimposed into the back of the counter isn't enough...
ReplyDelete"One game no one would be surpised about"
ReplyDeleteoh yeah, totally MvC2
sorry what was the title of the song? =)
ReplyDeletewhy would you have 10 mins of it anyway, could have just had a min...
but fair enough, good stuff proto =)
So who is she taking? And what is she taking them for?
ReplyDeleteAll jokes aside, I seriously hope this comes to the Wii in some form. I mean honestly, We have the storage solution, we have an arcade service, we have 3rd party fight pad controllers, we have all we need. We just need Capcom to treat all the consoles seriously.
Heck, it doesn't even have to be digital; I'd sure accept a retail release! (Bundled with the other HD ports that have been given to others of course)
there is a "2" clearly visible in the background now.
ReplyDeleteWow, I didn't notice the giant 2 until anon2 mentioned it.
ReplyDeleteAnyone who can't see it, change your monitor's display mode to STD or Office. A lot more contrast that way.
