SuperMega233 dug this little gem up from the depths of Nico Nico Douga; an old promotional clip for the Rockman Complete Works lineup, a series of enhanced remakes of RM1-6 for the original PlayStation. (a good chunk of Complete Works assets appear in Anniversary Collection)
The clip features a slew of gameplay montages, including footage of the highly obscure PocketStation mini games (1:17 mark):
I guess I never thought COMPLETE WORKS was that much different from ANNIVERSARY COLLECTION, besides a few add-ins, etc., but I noticed at around 1:37 that the bosses have far more health than Rock does, a-la MMX. Quite interesting.

ReplyDeleteKind of interesting that the promo has a Complete Works-style remix of Sparkman's theme, which was never in the games. Makes me wonder if remixes of the unremixed music in the CW series actually exists somewhere...
ReplyDeleteThe PocketStation can improve the health and attack from MegaMan and the 6-8 (46) bosses, look at Mega Man's health in 1:32!!!!
