Eddie Lebron's MegaMan fan film is shaping up quite well! The official site recently updated with a brand new teaser trailer, one that gives us a good idea of what to expect from the finished product:
Roll's a bit annoying and I;m not crazy about some of the RM designs, but the special effects are amazing and it'll surely be a million times better than anything Hollywood would make.
How the heck could you say that is better than anything Hollywood could make?? The special effects are AMAZING?
Just a question-- Have you actually ever seen a good movie?
Though a hollywood rendition would probably be changed a lot and maybe not the greatest thing on earth, at least it would be acted well and shot well and professional looking. :P

Adam Kelly also did a Megaman fan movie years ago, it had it's goods and bads but was very interesting. I like who they picked for Light and the robot masters but Megaman, Roll (is.... it a guy?), Dr. Wily and the flashs of Protoman..... just don't do it for me. The special effects ARE good. They should have asked me to be Protoman. ;)
roll is the only thing bothering me. they shouldve just made her white. i mean both her and megaman are white arent they? cmon! Thomas Light? Theyre white!
This seems very well made, for what it is: a Megaman fan film. It looks better than what I expected, and the bits of acting in the trailer exceed the expectations I had. I've got to give kudos to this fellow for even daring to set foot into videogame-to-movie adaptation territory. The results are rarely pretty,...but, for a movie that I previously thought should never be made, this trailer has piqued my interest (in a good way)
This looks okay, except: 1) the filming is poor. The shots and scenes aren't dynamic enough, especially for how serious they seem to be making the story. 2) Wily is so cheesy! If he were just a bit more serious (but still comic-book-bad-guy crazy), it would work. As it is, he's throwing everything off. (The accent's gotta go, too!) 3) The acting...could be better. Mega Man and Light are okay, but that's about it. 4) Light and Wily aren't old enough.
Other than that, this isn't too bad. Certainly better than anything I could do!

I for one like most of what I'm seeing. There are a few things that I would have done differently, but it looks interesting so far.

Now, a CG one could MAYBE be good if capcom pulled all the plugs, but I'd rather it was just never risked.
