I hate to burst the bubbles of those who thought the screen was real but we have official confirmation that it is indeed a fake. Rockman Perfect Memories revealed that one of it's own members, Blackbeltdude, created the image for the lulz.

ReplyDeleteAfter I heard this, I lost faith if Mega Man 9 is coming out at all. I like jokes and parodies, but these type of false hope playing on peoples feelings and excitement type jokes are bad and not funny at all.
ReplyDeleteI still haven't lost hope though. There will still be a MM9, and the first couple of rumors and the title registration on the GOV AU site tends to keep the hope up a bit. Waiting for more words from Capcom and "real" testers would be nice. ovo;

I didn't fall for it, and I thought it was kind of amusing. Odd that the MM community is so hateful towards each other. MM and MMX fans hate MMBN fans, and yell at anyone who tries something different...

It's only this hoax (produced for the LOLz) that turned out to be fake.
So, calm down, game is still coming...it's just that we'll probably have to wade our way through a number of fakes first before we get to the truth.
But it said "official confirmation". It means it is fake offically. I don't think Megaman 9 will comimg out. But if it is, why doesn't Capcom announce it on video game news like Magic Box, 1-Up, IGN, and etc?
